Adoration of the Moon and a Star
In the realm of affection, a star glimmers beside the moon
On this tranquil evening, a vision of beauty and elegance unfolds
In this treasured moment, I invite you to speak, ‘O Nisar'
For silence does not befit you; do not remain distant
The Moon, embodying modesty and humility, addressed the Star
"Oh, my dear, you are my beloved, a true masterpiece
Your presence has illuminated the celestial expanse
We are destined for one another; I am the candle, and you are the flame"
The Star replied to the Moon with equal grace
"Your essence is my beauty, your presence my embrace
To be close to you, my dear, is a fortune I hold dear
You have captured my heart, and for that, I revere"
As I listened to the tender exchange of the Moon and Star
I painted the canvas of this poem, ‘O Nisar'
Moon said to the Star with all modesty and humility Oh my dear, you are my beloved with gracility.....me a candle and you a flame....... nice comparisons and images dear poet. thank u for this poem. tony
