An Unknown Guest Poem by BASAB CHAUDHURI

An Unknown Guest

A cup of coffee
Milk skin floats on top
Others drink wine
Enjoy the music and pop.

Inside quite noisy
Yet there is charm
Room full of life
Loud beating of drum.

Out of the world
Heart pumps up blood
Chemicals inside body
As if there is flood.

Quiet at a corner
I see life flowing
Boys and girls are happy
Trumpet - yeah - blowing.

Evening falls to night
Empty room alone
Quiet at a corner
I am guest unknown.
