Aquilla Rose Poems

Staring at the campfire;
Oh, what a sapphire,
It could start a bushfire.
...

'Oh what is that red on your head, leaking from the gap? '
A ribbon; A red ribbon.
Seeping through the woods,
Creeping off the roof.
...

A tower stands strongly in London,
Made by hands not from the dungeon.
It stands strong, not ever crumbling.
Never had a shame,
...

'Last Breath', one may say,
'Feels like drowning', you may state,
'It is drowning', I remark.
But I know that it is not.
...

Mother, forgive me.
I wish not for all
that you have given me.

Aquilla Rose Biography

I write poems about my feelings. Often, I am able to link my feelings to events, places, people, or objects. All of my poems have a meaning, though the meaning may not be clear at first. Someone will always be able to figure it out - I know that. (Also, I literally JUST rediscovered this place, so I'm back now: 3) .)

Knight's Campfire

Staring at the campfire;
Oh, what a sapphire,
It could start a bushfire.

The flicks of light,
The tricks of night;
Oh where is that knight?
Out in a fight, Out in the daylight;

The horrors of night,
The abandoned light,
Sacrificed on sight,
Paralyzed from fright,
Symbolized by spite;

What a night,
Can't wait for light,
The time starves me.
