That the wind closed a thousand years ago
That I may see what's behind it
And how dreams hide within it

When the frigid wintry winds
...

If memory serves me well
There, upon the caravans of the departed ones
Above attires of the happy and the barefooted
Atop teardrops of the weary

Swing me?

I Wish To Open A Door

I wish to open a door
That the wind closed a thousand years ago
That I may see what's behind it
And how dreams hide within it
I wish to see how the forgotten daffodils are faring in their corners
And the jasmine and lilac atop yonder walls
O I dream of opening a door
That the winds have closed a thousand years ago
