Ziba, The Strange Island Poem by ibiba tamunominji

Ziba, The Strange Island

dream nor reality—
It is the mystery between them,
A human island where fate dances
With freedom beneath the moon.

Here, the world happens differently;
Kings rise, kingdoms fall,
Lovers meet, enemies forgive,
And ordinary people become legends.

Ziba, strange island of mankind,
Where every soul is a traveller,
Every road hides a story,
And every stranger carries a universe.

Perhaps Ziba is far away—
Beyond the seven seas of imagination;
Or perhaps it is here,
Hidden beneath our very feet.

For Ziba is not merely an island.

Ziba is a world.
Ziba is humanity.
Ziba is the strange place within us
Where everything can happen
