The Haunted House Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Haunted House

It's the house......
The haunted house,
Which is known to all,
In the dark and deep night
The house gets its true identity,
Mysterious whisperings pervade the atmosphere,
Repeated knockings are heard from outside,
Nobody dares to cross it,
But the great traveller is firm and resolute,
He knocks at the door of the house
In the darkest night,
Soon someone answers from within,
'Dear friend!
Don't worry,
I am the true companion
Of a brave and honest soul.'
