Living In Privacy Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Living In Privacy

Someone's knocking upon a door, wanting to be let in,
but it can never be, for this mere poet is a loner
wanting peace and quiet in order to think.

Listening to music, writing whatever this mind has
hidden in this being, opening, unfolding, living in
the privacy of a poetical life.

Not ever wanting to share that space with anyone, it's
a solo journey through life that can never really be
shared for it's a once in a lifetime moment of a poet.
