Famine Poem by ramesh rai

Famine

Famine
When man stubbornly clings to his resolve,
He loses sight of right and wrong;
Forgetting the harmony of nature,
He turns into a predator himself.

Then nature unleashes its wrath,
Descending upon the world as famine.

Animals, birds, and humans cry out in anguish,
All desperately seeking a way to survive.

Truth be told, in this world,
There is none worse than man;
In the pursuit of his own selfish interests,
He forgets everything else.

Man alone will become
The greatest cause of destruction in this world;
Blinded by his own arrogance,
He will transform into a monster.
