Deep Within Me
There is a part of me
That I rarely let out,
I only let it out
When I have control of it.
I keep this part of me
Hidden deep inside,
I don’t know its full strength
Nor do I feel it’s safe to find out yet.
It has always been kept deep within me
Until I let some of it out,
I do not try to let it control me
But there are times that it does.
I keep this part of me
That can be very destructive,
And cause so much pain
Deep within my body and soul.
I have read three poems by you and it seems that this really bothers you. I think it is great that you have leanred to control it even if is only I little bit.
