Living in an empty loneliness as it holds on for dear life,
wanting to be filled with love throughout the years.
Resonating along measures of chords, keeping time with the
impossibilities of yesterday.
Shuffling and wanting to run away into the darkness where
life becomes comfortable when wanting to hide away.
Looking for peace and tranquility, keeping everything to
oneself, not wanting to share it with anyone else.
It's a cherished privacy that this poet wouldn't trade for
anything else in this world.
Just riding through the desert, being a cowgirl, slowly
going down dusty trails, ravines and canyons alone.
